Time for Festival "Highfield Festival"

12. August 2024 until 20. August 2024 in Germany

Are you desperate to see your band? Do you want to experience a German festival? You don't have anyone to go with you? Going to a festival alone can leave you feeling anxious and insecure. But don't worry - I've got the perfect solution for you!

We'll start comfortably three days before the festival. We'll meet up in the evening with setting up the tent, pizza and a cold alcoholic drink. I will pick you up at an easily accessible location such as the Leipzig airport in Germany or Leipzig Central Station in Germany and together we will drive to our land of dreams of the evening. It is of course also possible to arrive by yourself with your own vehicle. Here you meet the other like-minded adventurers!
The next morning we will do some shopping together for the next few days and for the festival, as well as joint activities. We also spend our day at a lake. Of course, there will also be stand-up paddle, beach volleyball and water fun. On the following day, we will design our festival outfit together, our festival mascot, our "Doof Stick" and practise our own radio messages on the walkie-talkie. Good preparation for our festival is everything! On this day, we will also go into a climbing park.
Day 3 starts in the morning: we drive to the festival site and try to get the best spot with our tents and set up camp here for the next few days. At German festivals, it is typical to play alcoholic drinking games almost 24/7 a day (note: please always observe and know your limit!). So, it's best to pack your favourite drinking game, no matter how crazy it is. The festival days are spent however you like: drinking games in the camp, partying to the best bands, dancing under the stars, jumping in the lake and just laughing with your new friends and so much more!
By the way, a lot of Bands which are going to play are already known: Rise Against, Cro, Macklemore, Donots, The Kooks, Bosse, Nico Santos und Schmutzki.
At some point after a few days, the last hour of the festival will strike and we have to pack up. Now it's up to you whether you spend another night with the other adventurers free of charge or travel home. You can also decide this spontaneously. I recommend spending another night with everyone and ending it in a cosy atmosphere. This is called "aftercare". We look back on the last few days and get together for one last time.
The next morning, it's time to say goodbye to your new festival adventure friends until the next reunion. I'll drive you back to Leipzig Central Station in Germany or to Leipzig airport in Germany.

• In order to take part in You and Lexi Travel trips, you must have taken out health insurance in the respective country in advance. If you are not from Germany, this must be international health insurance. Written proof is required for successful registration.
• Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if and when I should pick you up. If you come by car, this is also welcome and I will send you the direct coordinates. 
• A later arrival makes it more difficult to set up your own tent. Leaving too early can disrupt the participant experience. If you are unsure, please contact me in good time.
  
• Tents, sleeping bags and sleeping mats can be borrowed for a fee of €30 per item required. Please let me know at least 72 hours in advance if you need any of these items.
  If you are missing any other items, I will be happy to help you. Please let me know in advance.
• If you are not from Europe, please remember to organise your own visa for the duration of your stay.
• The trip takes place with a minimum of 3 participants. We reserve the right to cancel the trip 2 weeks before the start date if there are fewer than 3 participants without any right to compensation. 
• We must stick to the festival organiser's rules for checking into the festival. I will send these to you beforehand. Like the other people at the festival, we have no special rights. These rules must be followed. 
• There will typically be some alcohol at the festival. Know your limit and respect the limits of your fellow travellers! Nobody is forced to do anything. If someone does not want to drink alcohol, this must be accepted!
• No drugs!
• What we take to the festival will be taken back home with us. We do not pollute the environment.
